These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of TuitionTally (the "Site"), located at https://tuitiontally.lucenta.dev, operated by Maruf Rahman ("we," "us," or "the Operator"). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Site.
1. What the Site is
TuitionTally provides free, client-side financial calculators — including a college cost of attendance calculator and a student loan repayment calculator — that estimate figures based on inputs you provide. The calculators run entirely in your browser. No account or registration is required or offered.
2. Estimates only — no financial, legal, or tax advice
Every figure produced by the Site is an estimate based on the numbers you enter and standard financial formulas (compounding cost growth and standard loan amortization). Results do not account for every real-world variable — servicer rounding, capitalized interest, variable rates, fees not entered, or changes to financial aid or loan programs. Nothing on the Site constitutes financial, legal, tax, or professional advice of any kind. See the Disclaimer for more detail.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
- Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the Site, its infrastructure, or other users' use of it.
- Scrape, reverse-engineer, or republish the Site's content or code in a way that misrepresents its source, except as permitted by open licensing where applicable.
- Use automated means to place excessive load on the Site in a way that degrades service for others.
4. Third-party services and advertising
The Site may display advertising served by Google AdSense and may use Google Analytics to understand aggregate traffic. The Site is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or financial loss, arising from your use of, or reliance on, the Site or its calculators — including decisions made about borrowing, enrollment, or repayment based on figures the Site produced.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
